When the Boys Return plot

When they come home, the whole village celebrates. The underage boys from the West Bank then spent months or sometimes even years in an Israeli prison. As political prisoners for throwing rocks at Israeli soldiers. After the festivities, the boys must deal with their traumatic, blindfolded arrest and the period in prison, where their rights as minors did not apply. They have to continue living in occupied territory, which is populated by soldiers, dominated by military raids and marked by weekly demonstrations. In a group therapy session, the boys describe the ever-present fear of being picked up again.
