"You Never Dreamed a Film Could Be So Funny"

Director Youngson's ode to what's called 'The Golden Age of Silent Comedy'. Big comedic stars like Chaplin, Keaton, Laurel & Hardy, etc. who created a furore under the wings of the two major comedy studios: Mack Sennett and Hal Roach. We see fragments of their famous films and narrator Dwight Weist reminisces about the history of these slapstick films.
