Weg uit de Stad plot

The pressure on the city is increasing. House prices are rising to unprecedented heights and tourism is creating crowds of people in the busy cities. At the same time, the countryside is dealing with shrinkage, an ageing population and disappearing facilities. City leavers offer a hopeful perspective: young people are increasingly swapping the city for the countryside, in search of space, peace and new adventures. Are they part of the solution? Are they the new impetus for the countryside?
