Wat Achterblijft plot

Shortly after the death of their mother, three sisters are faced with the task of clearing out their parental home. By cleaning up, they are once again confronted with the death of their mother and the inevitable parting with things that keep the memory of their past alive. The erratic, subcutaneous grieving process is reflected in the way in which the house and its belongings are dismantled.
