Wandering through Secret Storms plot

Images from the Prelinger Archives of people (mostly women) doing office work are mixed with lines of text from heavily censored FBI files full of suspicious, paranoid notes. A story of patriarchal surveillance is suggested, but the soul of Battle's film lies in the strange, ghostly glow emanating from the filing cabinets or in the animated birds that flit freely from one screen to the next.
