Vinicius plot
"Who's gonna pay for the burial and the flowers if I die of love?"
Documentary about the Brazilian poet, playwright, critic, diplomat, composer, singer and lyricist Vinicius de Moraes (1913-1980), the internationally renowned lyricist of bossa nova hits such as "Garota de Ipanema" and "Insensatez" and co-writer of the play' 'A Felicidate'', used in the movie "Black Orpheus" (1959). Archive footage combined with recent interviews with members of his family, friends, partners (Chico Buarque, Edu Lobo, Carlos Lyra) and also songs with famous Brazilian singers are covered.
