Vildmarkens Søn plot

Can an old man from the Norwegian forests remind us of what we have forgotten about ourselves? Farmer, teacher, poet and musician Jimmy Øvredal lives close to nature and in connection with birds, trees and mythical creatures from Norwegian folklore. He reads nature instead of the news on Facebook and other media. On his way to his cabin he strokes the trees and talks to the flying raven and the Nix in the lake. Does the eccentric Jimmy have a deep understanding of our connection to nature? Could it be that the rest of the world is crazy and he has the key to a happy life?
