Verlaten plot

Loes, Suzanne, Rike, Maarten and Jan were all abandoned by their partners. They courageously talk about the process, the emotions and the consequences of the rejection. Each with a personal and gripping story. And although it happens to a lot of people, the subject is still fraught and surrounded by taboos. The stories in this documentary show how disruptive such an experience can be and how damaged the self-image is.
