Una Storia Italiana plot
The message, lifestyle and values that Berlusconi has been sending onto the airwaves in recent years have changed Italy. Italian reality has adapted to the image created by the media. Italian filmmaker Anna Bucchetti, who now lives in the Netherlands, spent several weeks touring her native country with the question "Dove sta andando l'Italia?" ("where is Italy going?"). When Berlusconi is able to bring the media and justice under even further control, Italy will reach a 'point of no return'. How did it get this far? Why is Berlusconi so popular and why are counter voices, counter forces absent? What can we expect in the future and is it still possible to reverse this process?
