Tsjechisch Kerstfeest plot

Czech Christmas party tells the story of Daniela and Zuzana, eight years her junior, two sisters who fled from Prague to the Netherlands in 1968 to escape the communist regime. While you would think that such an act would strengthen their mutual bond, this move has actually driven the sisters further apart. However, every year in the Netherlands they celebrate Czech Christmas with both families like they used to, because as Daniela says 'even the communists couldn't eradicate Christmas'.
