Tripoli/A Tale of Three Cities plot

A queer filmmaker returns from his home abroad to his hometown of Tripoli (Lebanon) at regular intervals. His quest to face the city that once rejected him gives rise to reflections that give the film the character of an urban symphony. Within it, he also interviews a cross-section of the city’s inhabitants – with a number of recurring protagonists, including a queer artist and a young left-wing politician – on a variety of topics.
