Internationally, a small group of future experts has been studying global developments in the fields of politics, art, design, culture, finance and sports for many years. From these observations, the experts distil a 'trend forecast', an analysis of trends for the coming years. Many designers and companies make use of such a forecast where they have to decide whether or not to jump on a trend. A wrong decision can mean a major financial loss and make or break a business.
