Tranchées plot

Currently, a war is tearing apart the eastern side of Europe, with the general indifference of the rest of the continent. In the Donbass region, near Trokhizbenka, pro-Russian separatists have been fighting Ukrainian forces for years. The initial fighting soon led to a stalemate and both armies began digging to hold their positions, in patterns reminiscent of the famous trenches of World War I. This documentary explores the soldiers' vulnerability, exposed by their lazy everyday lives.
