Toneelgroep Amsterdam plot

Documentary maker Niek Koppen followed Toneelgroep Amsterdam in the 1999-2000 season, the latter under the artistic direction of Gerardjan Rijnders. On January 1, 2001, Rijnders ceased his work as artistic director of the group he co-founded in 1987. The documentary highlights Toneelgroep Amsterdam as a theater company. In addition to the actors, the technical service, the designers, the workshops, the publicity department, the secretariat, the management and the board are closely monitored.
