To Repel Ghosts plot

Based on a true trip in the 1980s by the artist Jean-Michel Basquiat to Abidjan. He is taken in tow by the Ivorian painter Watt and his friends. Exhausted by visions and depression, Basquiat searches for redemption in traditional art and local healing rituals.
