Theater in Trance plot

A documentary in fourteen parts about the festival 'Theatre der Welt 1981' that was held in Cologne. Fourteen theater groups from countries including West Germany, the United States, Japan, Mexico and Italy are followed during their rehearsals, performances and behind the scenes. Fassbinder meanwhile recites texts by Antonin Artaud.
