The Water Front plot

The residents of Highland Park, a suburb of Detroit, saw the price of water rise astronomically. The price hike is part of a large-scale operation to clear Highland Park's huge debt mountain. Debts incurred by the former corrupt local administration. Affected residents, mainly African Americans, are fighting fiercely against the privatization trend and for affordable water prices.
