The Time That Separates Us plot

In Jordan, near Ghor Al-Safi, an ancient salt rock formation overlooks the Dead Sea. This pillar of salt becomes a portal through which we can confront the Jordan Valley, its heavily militarized border and complex tourist infrastructure. We also consider the stigmatized territories of desire, sexuality and gender that are encoded in a highly mediated political landscape and its associated mythological locations.
