"The Real Story Of The Greatest Blues Guitarist Who Ever Lived"

John Hammond goes in search of the roots of blues musician Robert Johnson, who has had a major influence on the history of modern music. Hammond visits old friends of Johnson and travels to locations of significance. On one of his trips, Hammond meets an old friend of Robert Johnson, whom he plays a recording of the musician for the first time in her life. He also finds a possible son and grandson of the artist.
