The Halfmoon Files plot

December 11, 1916, Wünsdorf, Germany. Indian prisoner of war Mall Singh leaves a message of hope into a gramophone funnel. Ninety years later, his voice can still be heard on vinyl, along with hundreds of other voices of World War I prisoners of war. Result of a bizarre experiment in POW camp "Halbmond". The military, science and entertainment industry had joined forces to map the differences between races through voice. Through these voices on vinyl, this experiment is analyzed in this documentary.
