The Governor plot

Zvi Elpeleg, the director’s grandfather, was a military governor after the founding of the state of Israel. He became responsible for the control of Arab citizens within Israel. The positive image that Zvi always radiated slowly crumbles as the filmmaker learns more about his true actions as an authority figure, both in his military and family life. As Danel Elpeleg exposes family secrets, the personal and the political merge and everything turns out to be about control.
