The Fence plot

Filmmaker Rory Kennedy examines the 1,100-kilometer-long fence built by the US government along the more than 2,200-mile border with Mexico. 350 engineers and thousands of workers have contributed to it, and it has cost tens of thousands of tons of metal and billions of dollars since 2006. The film reveals how the fence's goals of limiting illegal immigration and drug smuggling and protecting America from terrorists have given way to unforeseen , absurd consequences and the question: Was it worth it?
