The Fallen Astronaut plot
In 1971, the Belgian artist Paul Van Hoeydonck managed to send one of his works to the moon on an Apollo flight. But his small sculpture was unbeknownst to him renamed as a tribute to some deceased astronauts. And so Van Hoeydonck became entangled in a scandal that caused his work to end up in obscurity. In this documentary he tells his story for the first time about the first and only work of art on the moon.
