The Dog plot

"Love is a very strange thing"

John Wojtowicz prided himself on being perverted. Knowing his puberty in the 1960s, his libido was exaggerated, even by the libertine standards of the era. He had contact with several women and lovers, both women and men. In August 1972, he attempted to rob a Brooklyn bank to fund a gender reassignment surgery for his loved one. The act resulted in a 14-hour hostage situation that was broadcast on TV.
