"Germany’s last playboy"

Rolf Eden is the last German playboy. As 'King of the Disco' he launched the first beauty pageants and popularized the striptease as a DJ in prudish Germany. He is the father of seven children by seven different women and has danced with the Rolling Stones and Ella Fitzgerald in his clubs. Rolf Eden is a tall octogenarian man with long blond hair and a girlfriend who is younger than his grandchild. It's not just his eccentric, glitzy lifestyle that continues to both annoy audiences and make them laugh, the real provocation comes from his militant gaiety.
