In 1962 an unknown group from Liverpool entered the Abbey Road studio to record their debut single. Over the next 8 years they created what is now considered the finest collection of studio recordings of the twentieth century. The Beatles on Record follows the Beatles on their incredible journey from the Please Please Me album to Abbey Road, but focuses mainly on the growth of the band itself, how they evolved as musicians and how they made music that is still as refreshing today. sounds like when it was recorded.
