Terugkeer naar het Zilvermeer plot
In 1973, uprisings broke out among the oppressed Indians in various parts of the country in the United States. VPRO documentary makers Roelof Kiers and Hans Keller decide to travel to the reserves and their suburbs to make a separate documentary each. For his film, Keller visits a reservation of Navayo Indians and a town adjacent to a reservation. There he meets the Native American Hainey family, souvenir-selling Native Americans and an Indian working as a garbage collector.
