Taniec Trzcin plot

According to a United Nations report, one in two teenagers in Swaziland will die from AIDS in the next few years. Polish director Andrzej Fidyk captures the overriding role of AIDS in the preparations and celebrations of the traditional reed dance. During this annual dance, all the young virgins of Swaziland present themselves before King Mswati III - the last absolute monarch of Africa. A group of girls, whose frank and lively conversations Fidyk follows, doubt whether virgins will actually walk among them.
