Steven John Bator, better known as Stiv Bators, was an American singer, composer and guitarist best known for his bands The Dead Boys and The Lords of the New Church. He died on June 3, 1990, but even 30 years after his mysterious death in Paris, the bands are legendary. The real story is still largely untold. How did this resident of Girard, Ohio, get into the life of Paris, France? Was Stiv really hit by a car on that fateful day? Who was the real Stiv Bators?
