Stefan Lorant, Man in Pictures plot

Stefan Lorant is the inventor of the photo cartoon. Born in Budapest in 1901, maker of fourteen films in 1920s Germany, editor of many magazines before he got into a fight with Hitler. He wrote a bestseller about it in England, where he founded famous magazines such as Picture Post. He helped Churchill into the saddle, but that did not prevent him from being expelled from the country. Since then he lives and works in the United States. It seems as if all the greats of the twentieth century belonged to his circle of acquaintances. The 96-year-old makes it clear in the documentary that Paul Cohen made about him that he is not worn out. He does not hesitate to take over control when something does not suit him.
