Staat van Angst plot

The large-scale disruption and short-lived panic during the national commemoration of war victims on Dam Square in Amsterdam, Tuesday 4 May 2010, was unique. More than 60 people were injured in the crash. Many people thought back to the attack of a year earlier, which had taken place on Queen's Day in Apeldoorn. 'State of Fear' is a documentary in which we see the effect of last year's panic on the participants in the commemoration of 4 May 2011. The tension in the square among the security guards, the royal family and the public is dire, because last year it turned out differently than planned.
