South to Sian plot

Harrison Roach and Zye Norris pack their bags, a varied set of surfboards, two bicycles, and a $50 tent into a 1970s Land Rover and embark on an epic journey. They trek from southern Bali, through the Indonesian archipelago, to the remote Lagundri Bay in North Sumatra. What began as a three-month trip to find great surf spots has become a two-year odyssey of exploration, injury, companionship, and a 4,000-km escape from the real burdens of modern life.
