South Main plot

The Los Angeles City Council closes a subsidized housing block in South Central. While this plan appears to have many practicalities given the neighborhood's astronomical crime and drug trade, it has unforeseen consequences for a number of honorable families who also live in the area. The inhabitants are forced to pack up and settle elsewhere within a month. If it turns out that the government-promised 'relocation bonus' is only paid a few days before the actual move, the circumstances become even more challenging.
