Silent Observers plot

With the exodus from a remote, decaying Bulgarian mountain village, a traditional way of life seems to be coming to an end. In this film, the last remaining inhabitants are filmed from the perspective of a few domesticated animals. There is a lot of attention for sound, light and movement: an overflowing bucket, sunlight dancing through a rustling canopy of leaves, tapping ant legs, a cowbell tinkling in the wind.
