Show Me Your Soul plot

Documentary about the legendary music show 'Soul Train', which ran on American television from 1971 to 2006 and grew into a phenomenon. In the early 1970s, producer and presenter Don Cornelius devised a program format that would provide a stage for the biggest stars of African American music. 'Soul Train' was born, and would run for 35 years. In times of racial tension, the program quickly played an important political role in Black America's emancipation struggle. Historians, former dancers, choreographers and musicians of yesteryear look back on the legendary show.
