Shir Eres plot

The filmmaker Adi Arbel had a daughter herself the day the second Intifada broke out in 2000. When the girl was six months old, another Israeli baby was shot in the head. A month later, the same thing happened to a Palestinian child. The documentary is an indictment of these untold tragic events. Eleven Israeli and Palestinian mothers tell in the film what it means to lose a child, and in such a way. Their testimonials evolve into conversations about motherhood, loss and new pregnancies. Lullaby offers an intimate insight into the intense grief of individuals in a blind political conflict.
