Shelley in Wonderland plot

Shelley is a timid elderly lady who is competing in the Miss Senior USA pageant. It seems hysterical and absurd, but behind the glitter and wrinkles lies a story about transience, visibility, uncertainty, dreams and about skewed ideals of beauty. When 62-year-old Shelley takes part in the election, it is the start of a journey, both literally and emotionally.
