How do you, as an outsider, make a film about life in a poor neighborhood in Italy? And perhaps even more difficult: how do you, as an adult filmmaker, become part of the lives of Italian young people? Filmmaker Agostino Ferrente came up with an idea that was as simple as it was brilliant. He gave several teenagers in the Neapolitan Traiano a telephone with which they could portray their lives in complete freedom.
