Schuld & Boete plot

They have to deal with collection agencies, writs of execution and bailiffs all the time, put letters aside unopened and start cutting back on things you don't really cut back on. And then – because of persistent or ever-increasing debts – the water, gas and electricity are cut off, money has to be borrowed from family and friends and eviction is threatened and sometimes even a period on the streets. Documentary maker Nan Rosens focuses on the debt industry in this documentary.
