This documentary shows forty buildings, in and around Los Angeles, by the Austrian-American architect Rudolph Schindler (1887-1953) from the period 1921-1952. He was the founder of a quirky design style, and his pioneering work in Southern California is an important branch of modern architecture. In addition, this documentary is also a current and unique portrait of urban life in Los Angeles.
