Santos #2, Work in Progress plot

After a five-year stay in Morocco, director Oliver Laxe (Mimosas) returns to Vilela to renovate his grandparents' dilapidated family home. With a small film crew, he films the Spanish village, hidden deep in nature, on 16mm. According to Laxe, this film in the making is like 'tuttifrutti', an experimental mishmash of images that illustrate his relationship with the village. Corbal not only films the working filmmaker, but also the historical environment in which he finds himself.
