A journey through the mysterious world of memory and oblivion. The focus is on the memories of the Second World War of five sisters, their brother and their mother with dementia. It's hard to believe that they experienced the same events: their memories are very different from each other. The film has a fragmentary structure and also examines memory in its structure, which according to filmmaker Kiti Luostarinen must have the shape of a snail's shell. You descend into it and spin through the same events from different perspectives. It's the same with memories: some experiences keep coming back, others sink into a lake of oblivion.
