Russische Reizigers in Afrika plot

Tragi-comic double portrait about the gloomy life of poverty, drink and violence of two painters in the Russian countryside. The now 100-year-old Aunt Lyoeba lives on berries and mushrooms. She was once famous for her paintings that were accidentally discovered by an art collector. In exchange for brushes and canvas, he took piles of paintings and organized exhibitions. That's how it happened to Leonov, a painter who lives 200 kilometers away with his wife in a small shabby house. Until the expectations of the art collectors ran high.
