Rudzienko plot

The director Lockhart had a long-term relationship with Milena, a girl she met while making another film called Podwórka in Łódź in 2009. During the past two years, Lockhart organized summer retreats for a group of teenagers living with Milena in the town of Rudzienko in a home for girls near Warsaw. Through exercises in movement, dance, yoga, craft, cooking, writing and their performance, Lockhart encouraged the girls to share their personal stories.
