Rubbed Out plot

Aleksandar Todorovic has lived in Slovenia for thirty years. One day he wants to renew his driver's license, but the official says that he is no longer in the Slovenian population register. When Slovenia seceded from the former Yugoslavia in 1991, Todorovic was erased from all official registers, along with more than 18 thousand other citizens of non-Slovenian descent.
