Royal de Luxe plot

In the summer of 2018, they walked through the streets of Leeuwarden under the eyes of hundreds of thousands of spectators: the giant puppets of the French theater company Royal de Luxe. This documentary tells the story of artistic director Jean-Luc Courcoult, who realizes this dream in all kinds of places in the world. He develops an impressive street performance with his multidisciplinary team of theater makers and technicians. The giants of epic proportions can move through ropes, machines and human muscle power and seem to really come to life.
