Robert Richardson: The White Devil plot

Jana Hojdová, a former film photography student at FAMU in Prague, sent an email to obtain the contact details of Robert Richardson, one of the most prominent film photographers of the moment. It must have been a huge surprise for her to receive a reply from the man himself. What began as a study assignment and master's project soon grew into a creative partnership and a personal friendship. Her film is a portrait of an idiosyncratic and uncompromising artist, a three-time Oscar winner, and a highly acclaimed collaborator with directors such as Oliver Stone, Martin Scorsese, and Quentin Tarantino.
