Rêve de Glace plot
Documentary about a French engineer's ambitious project to solve the drinking water problem in arid regions by dragging icebergs there. Every year the equivalent of the drinking water consumption of the entire world population melts away in the warm salt water of the ocean. Icebergs break off from the polar glaciers, drift around and then disappear into the ocean. That is why the French engineer Georges Mougin has been advocating a revolutionary plan for 40 years: to drag such an iceberg to arid regions that are struggling with flooding. After all this time, it's time for a first experiment: dragging an iceberg from the Canadian coast through the Atlantic Ocean before it melts.
