Reanglao Jak Meangnue plot

Eight short stories from northern Thailand, an area of elusive villages and countless rice fields. This landscape is also changing, which is why the filmmaker captured the land and especially its people. Each chapter focuses on different people and a different story. Children telling ghost stories, a man looking after his water buffalo, an old woman longing for death. Life stories, but also mythical tales about ghosts that are told as true; the filmmaker also seems to have no reason not to believe in them.
