Ramses plot

Ramses is a documentary about the life of singer, actor and painter Ramses Shaffy. Shaffy, now 69, is portrayed in his current situation as a resident of a care home. In addition to Ramses Shaffy, his friend and former partner Joop Admiraal gives an extensive interview. Liesbeth List, Louis van Dijk and Shireen Strooker also talk about the uninhibited freedom they experienced with Ramses in the 1960s. The city of Amsterdam forms the backdrop for the story, a poetic narrative that depicts how the artist and his environment interacted.
